What an absolutely electrifying afternoon we had on June 22, 2025, at the Appaloosa Library in Scottsdale, AZ! We, the SoSco Duo, were beyond thrilled to present our highly anticipated “Showtime! Timeless Music from Broadway & Hollywood” concert. Thanks to the generous sponsorship from the Maricopa County Library District, this premier Scottsdale music event was completely free, drawing a standing-room-only crowd at 7377 E. Silverstone Drive, Scottsdale, AZ.

Scottsdale Music – Flute & Guitar Duo

As a flute and guitar duo, we take immense pride in crafting a unique and intimate musical experience. For “Showtime!”, we brought beloved Broadway and Hollywood melodies to life with our distinct arrangements. Seeing so many faces captivated by the music truly reinforces our passion for sharing the joy of Scottsdale music with our community.

Broadway and Hollywood Melodies

“Showtime!” isn’t just a concert; it’s a journey through the rich history of stage and screen. We love weaving in the fascinating stories and legends behind these timeless tunes, from the iconic works of Rodgers and Hammerstein to the sweeping scores of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Movie buffs in the audience particularly enjoyed our renditions of pieces by James Horner and the legendary John Williams. It’s clear that Scottsdale music enthusiasts appreciate the depth and breadth of these incredible compositions as much as we do.

Scottsdale Music at Appaloosa Library

The energy in the Appaloosa Library was palpable. Connecting with the audience, sharing anecdotes, and seeing the faces of audience members light up with recognition and delight is what makes these performances so incredibly rewarding. The resounding applause at the close of the show was a clear sign that our “Showtime!” performance resonated deeply with everyone present. We are truly proud to be a vibrant part of the Scottsdale music scene, and this concert was an absolute highlight for us.
