On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Scottsdale was buzzing about a glamorous night in Scottsdale with a different kind of energy—a dark, glamorous, and utterly fabulous kind of energy. The air at Dolce Events was thick with anticipation as the city’s top event professionals gathered for what was promised to be the most decadent night of the year: an Affair for the Unapologetically Fabulous, hosted by The Event Genies. This wasn’t your average vendor party; it was a celebration of creativity, a showcase of talent, and a night where “extra” wasn’t just encouraged—it was the standard.
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this was a special occasion. The dress code—extra encouraged—was taken to heart, with attendees decked out in formal wear that sparkled, shimmered, and sizzled with sass. There were flowing gowns, sharp suits, and an unmistakable air of confidence. It was a visual feast of dark glam that set the perfect tone for the evening’s festivities. The decor, meticulously crafted by an army of talented vendors, created a moody yet magnificent atmosphere that felt both exclusive and electric, with event design by Amy Simon Events.
As attendees mingled, the night came alive with surprises at every turn. From the stunning florals by Honey Blooms to the custom cocktails from Elite Sips AZ, every detail was curated to perfection. Guests were treated to captivating entertainment from Allure Entertainment, delightful photo opportunities with @themisgif, and delicious bites from Urban Phoenix Catering. The vibrant atmosphere was further enhanced by @balloonpeopleaz and the expertise of ETC by Emily and Parties by Ridhi. For those looking for a unique touch, @lalunahenna and @thesparklebar offered dazzling personal adornments.
Glamorous Night in Scottsdale with Live Music
But the true centerpiece of the evening’s aural delights was the music. As the evening progressed, the flute and guitar musicians from SoSco Duo took the stage, their elegant melodies weaving through the crowd. Their performance, a sophisticated blend of sultry jazz and popular songs, provided the perfect soundtrack to the night, supported by @arizonamusicforce and the incredible sound and lighting from @sapphireskylive and @divinitylighting. It elevated the atmosphere, creating a refined backdrop for the glamorous crowd. It was an unforgettable performance that highlighted the importance of high-quality live music in transforming an event.
This event was a powerful reminder of the incredible talent and dedication within Scottsdale’s event industry. The Event Genies didn’t just throw a party; they created a collaborative masterpiece. With stunning visuals thanks to @eventsmartaz, unique rentals from @epicpartyteam and @azretrorentals, and personalized touches from @alltheloveleighdetails and @roxinkcalligraphy, every aspect shone. Sweet treats from @artfulsweetsaz and @littlebuscookieco provided delightful finishes, while @mimidigitalsolutions captured every moment. The fun was amplified by @showstoppersfun and @saperstonestudios, with creative direction by @alainuribeteran and support from @curativeandco. Guests left with a sense of inspiration, new connections, and, as promised, a little bit of glitter on their soul.
